Will this project support a BOINC client in the future?

Honestly... I seriously doubt it...
By reading the news on the site, I see that Laurence and his team have built from scratch a whole new framework to support the project, so changing to boinc now would be going back to zero.

But, alike some other DC projects, it could sport both frameworks together, for the user to choose its favorite, but that is probably very hard to accomplish.

Anyways... let's wait for what our project master will say, and not jump into conclusions.

Hi,

I cannot say something definite about the long term future. On the short term definitively no, as we built quite a bit of infrastructure already and want to test our current design. Using BOINC requires quite a large number of adaptions anyway and it is not clear, whether that would be any easier than completing what we already have.
