Flämischer Maler des Manierismus im Dienst der englischen Königsdynastie der Tudors. Davor war er Hofmaler der Regentin der Niederlande, Maria von Kastilien. Ein Großteil seiner Werke ist heute nicht eindeutig identifiziert. Bekannt ist er u.a. durch seine Portrait-Anamorphosen.[1]
