Die Thermovoltaik ist das Arbeitsgebiet der Physik, das sich mit der direkten Umsetzung von Wärmeenergie in elektrische Energie befasst (Seebeckeffekt).

Eine zukunftsorientierte innovative Technologie ist der neue Generatortyp mit hohem Wirkungsgrad ohne Kühlsystem, im Vergleich zum Bekannten Thermostromgenerator (Patent). Ein Generator besteht aus einer Reihe von Thermoelementen die flächenartig kontaktiert sind. Eine zusätzliche ausgewählte Beschichtung zwischen den einzelnen Thermoelementen wirkt als niederohmiger Richtleiter ("Diophant"), der die Elektronen im Verhältnis 1:3000 in Richtung Minuspol leitet. Die durch Wärmeeinwirkung gewonnenen Thermospannung addiert sich mit jedem zusätzlich kontaktierten Element und durch die Temperaturzunahme freigewordenen Elektronen werden dem Verbraucher zugeleitet, "der kalten Seite", zum Potentialausgleich. Die elektrische Leistung ist bestimmt durch die verwendeten thermoelektrischen Materialien, der Größe der kontaktierten aktiven Fläche zwischen den unterschiedlichen Materialien und der zugelassenen Maximaltemperatur. Thermoelektrische Materialien handelsüblicher Elemente erreichen im Stromkreislauf pro mm² Kontaktfläche 0,02-0,5 Ampere mm².

Die Erwärmung der Generatorsäule ist mit Brennstoffen aller Art möglich, Sonnenstrahleinwirkung oder durch Kraft-Wärme-Kopplung und als idealer Elektrofahrzeugantrieb geeignet.

Thermovoltaik-Solarmodule mit Hunderten von Thermoelementenscheiben erreichen durch die Wärmeeinwirkung der Sonneneinstrahlung bis zu 250°C auf einen Meterquadrat, eine hohe elektrische Leistung. Thermische Generatoren sind keinem Verschleiß ausgesetzt, haben ein günstiges Volumen/Leistungsverhältnis, sind lautlos und umweltfreundlich, zudem ist die Herstellung der Elementenscheiben sehr kostengünstig und die Materialien sind im Handel erhältlich.

Als Option ist ein Hochstrom-Ein- oder Mehrphasen-Wechselrichter (DC/AC-Inverter) bis 60Hz integriert, der den Gleichstrom mit neuartigen steuerbaren Schaltelementen mit weniger als 2% Leistungsverlust in Wechselstrom umwandelt. Eine effektive Alternative für alle Gleichstromquellen.

Voraussetzung für die Herstellung eines Thermogenerators ist die Fertigung eines großflächigen Thermoelementes mit min. 2500mm² aktiver Kontaktfläche.

Die vielfältigen möglichen Bauformen der Generator Kompaktblöcke sind überall dort als elektrischen Stromerzeuger angepasst einsetzbar, wo überschüssige Wärmeenergie zu Verfügung steht, im Haus oder Industrie.
